Après on va où?.

In 13 days musical
'Après on va où?' is a solo musical theatre piece written and performed by Michel Rivard, framed around the brief, beautiful flowering of a magnolia tree visible from a bedroom window. Through monologue, poetry and song, the show's central character — a 74-year-old man who resembles the author — contemplates life before and after death, weighing doubts against certainties. The narrative moves between a medical appointment and choosing an urn from a catalogue, between a first love and a forest walk with a seven-year-old grandson, searching throughout for something 'greater than oneself'.
