Red Bloom - Alice Pallot.

In 3 days exhibition
Alice Pallot's photographic exhibition 'Red Bloom' is presented in the Orangerie of the Jardin des Plantes. The work focuses on the proliferation of green algae and examines how human activities are reshaping the natural environment. Pallot developed a distinctive technique: by immersing her photographic prints in seaweed baths, she allows an otherwise invisible toxicity to become visible through the physical alteration of the images themselves. The result is an immersive installation that confronts visitors with the fragile and damaged beauty of the natural world. The exhibition runs from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September 2026, open daily from 13:00 to 18:00. Entry is free as part of the European Heritage Days programme.
