The Study Concert: Brass Chamber Music is a student performance in Copenhagen, Denmark. Students of Jakob Keiding present a programme of brass chamber music in the New Hall at RDAM, the venue for this concert.
What to expect
- Kind of event: a concert, presented as a study concert, so the emphasis is on young performers at work rather than on a large professional production.
- Music: chamber music for brass instruments, played in small ensembles.
- Date and time: 27 November 2026, starting at 19:30.
- Place: the New Hall at RDAM, Copenhagen.
Planning your visit
A study concert suits anyone curious about how brass players train and perform together in a chamber setting, and it makes an intimate evening out in a city known for its concert life. Because the programme is presented by students of one teacher, the evening gives a close view of their work.
For details beyond what is listed here, the event page on the Danish Royal Academy of Music website, dkdm.dk, is the place to check. Copenhagen itself offers plenty to see before or after the concert, so you may wish to arrive with time to spare for a walk or a meal in the area.
