Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Omah Lay returns to Denmark for a headline show at Poolen, Copenhagen's intimate concert venue at Refshalevej 189, on 27 November. Doors open and the show begins at 20:00.
In just a few years, Omah Lay has risen from a rising talent out of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, to one of the most in-demand Afrobeats artists on the planet. His 2020 breakthrough EP Get Layd launched a musical universe that weaves Afrobeats, R&B and pop together around deeply personal themes of love, loneliness and mental health.
His catalogue includes major hits such as "Soso", "Understand", "Attention", "Reason" and "Holy Ghost", and his music has surpassed six billion streams worldwide. He has collaborated with Justin Bieber, Tyla, Olamide, Ozuna, Luciano and Davido, and his 2025 collaboration with Davido, "With You", earned a Grammy nomination for Best African Music Performance.
Omah Lay has already made his mark in Denmark — his 2024 appearance at Roskilde Festival received a perfect six-out-of-six-star review from Soundvenue, with the publication highlighting a hit-packed set and an electric stage presence that kept a packed Arena tent moving throughout.
