Kun Overgået af Virkeligheden (Only Surpassed by Reality) is a six-screen video installation created by performer Helle Fuglsang, who investigates whether performance can bridge a divided society.
Fuglsang appears both as herself and as her alter ego Wilma, and also dons the persona of a Trump-like figure in encounters with Donald Trump's supporters. Along the way she confronts absurd conspiracy theories, profound loneliness, cartel members and even appears in a music video touching on money, weapons and Israel.
The installation concludes with a communal choreography created by all participants, expressing togetherness and love.
Accompanying the screening, Filip Vest presents a live performance entitled Bonnie & Friends, a work about truth, politics and magic.

Helle Fuglsang
Helle Fuglsang is a Danish performer who works with alter egos and political personas to examine social division. In this piece she inhabits both her own identity and a Trump-like character, meeting real supporters and exploring themes of conspiracy, loneliness and community.
Filip Vest
Filip Vest contributes a companion live performance entitled Bonnie & Friends, exploring the themes of truth, politics and magic alongside Fuglsang's video installation.
