Christmas Concert - Camerata Øresund with Christian IV's Vocal Ensemble.

In 29 days concert
Camerata Øresund presents their annual Christmas concert at The Black Diamond, joined by Christian IV's Vocal Ensemble. The programme honours two iconic female figures from Christianity — the Virgin Mary and Saint Cecilia — through music composed across the centuries in their tribute. The repertoire features rarely performed works by French Baroque masters Marc-Antoine Charpentier and Henri Dumont, alongside Vivaldi's celebrated Magnificat. The concert promises an intimate and immersive atmosphere that offers something beyond the conventional Christmas programme. Following the concert, audience members are invited to join the artists for a long-table dinner in the Salon. Seats at the dinner must be reserved at the time of ticket purchase.

Camerata Øresund

Camerata Øresund is an ensemble of nine permanent musicians drawn from both sides of the Øresund strait, occasionally expanded to up to 30 musicians and singers. The group is led by Baroque violinist Peter Spissky and is known for presenting less conventional Christmas programmes that challenge the traditional repertoire.

Christian IV's Vocal Ensemble

Christian IV's Vocal Ensemble is made up of eight singers from Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Their repertoire centres primarily on a cappella music from the Renaissance (1425–1625), though the ensemble also explores more recent music.
