Guy Nantel returns to the stage with 'Bienveillant', his seventh career solo show, presented at the Grande Salle of Salle Pauline-Julien on Friday, 27 November 2026, at 20:00. The title — meaning 'benevolent' — is deliberately provocative for a comedian known for his unfiltered, socially and politically engaged humour.
Nantel has built his reputation as one of Quebec's sharpest observers, unafraid of any topic and skilled at exposing collective contradictions, social inconsistencies, and the grand debates of the era. His cutting lucidity and well-placed irony have made him one of the most distinctive voices of his generation.
With 'Bienveillant', audiences can expect the same unsettling, disarming and laugh-out-loud comedy he has always delivered — just perhaps wrapped in an unexpected new frame.
