Atrides formed in Montpellier in 2024 and plays fully instrumental post-doom, mixing doom, post-hardcore and sludge. The four members come from the local scene (Weaksaw, Lessen, Elest) and cite influences from Kyuss to Russian Circles, Type O Negative, Wind Hand and Cult of Luna. Their heavy, oppressive sound is broken up by airy passages typical of post-metal.
Exhausted is a post-metal band from Montpellier, influenced by the English scene, notably Conjurer, Rolo Tomassi and Heriot. Their music combines massive riffs, screams and more airy passages, with a direct approach and no unnecessary effects.
