Humour mon amour is Jean-Michel Martel's first one-man show. In it, he dissects the full spectrum of stand-up comedy styles — political, bawdy, absurdist, observational and more — paying loving tribute (with a healthy dose of irony) to the discipline he holds most dear.
The show takes on questions that no one really asks: What is humour? Why is something funny? Is it just me? Martel makes the audience both laugh and think as he examines comedy's inner workings, mechanics and subtleties from every angle.
