As part of the European Heritage Days, the Opéra Orchestre de Montpellier opens the doors of the Opéra Comédie to the public. Built in 1888, this magnificent Italian-style theatre was designed by architect Joseph-Marie Cassien-Bernard, a student of Charles Garnier.
Both free self-guided and guided tours are available. On Saturday 19 September, visits run from 9:30/10:00 to 17:30. On Sunday 20 September, visits run from 13:30/14:00 to 18:00.
Entry is free, with online registration required from 12 September at 10:00.
