Directed by Nicolas Défossé, this 2025 France/Mexico co-production (1h55) screens in original version (Spanish and Ch'ol) with French subtitles, followed by a Q&A moderated by Katia Morales Gaitan. Set in Chiapas, Mexico, the film portrays the residents of Tila who expel local government and police to establish their own collective structures, drawing inspiration from the Zapatista movement. Themes of memory, resistance and community hope run throughout. This screening is part of the International First Peoples Festival (IFPF) 2026 at Cinéma du Musée.
