This French Polynesian documentary (2025) is a portrait of Flora Aurima Devatine, a Polynesian poet and thinker whose life's work has been dedicated to preserving Polynesian language, storytelling and cultural knowledge. The film traces her personal journey and her enduring impact on Polynesian heritage.
Directed by Estelle Castro-Koshy, Tokainiua Jean-Daniel Devatine and Matahi Tutavae, the film runs 57 minutes and screens in French, Tahitian and other original languages with French subtitles. The screening is free and no reservation is required. It takes place at Salle Alanis-Obomsawin as part of IFPF 2026.
