Brahms / Tanaka / Mozart - Eva Ollikainen & Hakan Hardenberger (Classical Concert).

The Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie launches its new season with Finnish conductor Eva Ollikainen at the helm. The programme opens with Brahms's Tragic Overture Op. 81, followed by the French premiere of Verse of Light, a trumpet concerto by Karen Tanaka, performed by celebrated trumpeter Hakan Hardenberger. The concert concludes with Mozart's Symphony No. 39. Duration: approximately 1 hour 20 minutes without intermission. Admission: flat rate of €16. Two performances: Friday 11 September at 20:00 and Saturday 12 September at 19:00, both at the Opéra Comédie, Montpellier.
