La pièce se déroule pendant un été chaud et oppressant. Les sœurs Milly et Julie-Julien tentent de combattre l'ennui : Milly est fascinée par la mort, tandis que Julie-Julien parcourt les ruelles arrière pour sauver des chats égarés.
Devant le dépanneur du coin, Caro rêve d'une vie différente pour le bébé qu'elle porte. Au cœur de l'histoire se trouve un trio de femmes qui n'ont que l'amour et le courage pour se protéger de la violence.
La pièce oppose un pouvoir fragile mais essentiel au fatalisme : le pouvoir d'imaginer, afin de survivre, de résister et de construire un monde plus vivable. Elle est présentée à la Salle Fred-Barry du Théâtre Denise-Pelletier dans le cadre du Festival Voix Mortes 2026.
