A tribute ceremony honouring Roberto Murray takes place at the Cabaret Lion d'or in Montreal, Canada, on Sunday, November 1, 2026. It is an event for those who wish to mark the occasion and spend an afternoon in the company of others gathered for the same purpose.
What to expect
- Date: Sunday, November 1, 2026
- Doors open: 1 pm
- Ceremony begins: 2 pm
- Admission: free
The event is held at the Cabaret Lion d'or, a venue in Montreal. Because doors open an hour before the ceremony starts, arriving at the start of that window gives you time to settle in before proceedings begin.
Planning your visit
Montreal is a city of neighbourhoods, and the Cabaret Lion d'or makes a convenient base for a Sunday afternoon outing. Before you go, the event page on the venue's website, at cabaretliondor.com, is the place to check the latest details about the programme and any updates to the schedule.
Whether you knew Roberto Murray personally or come to the event to learn more about the occasion, a free and open tribute of this kind offers a quiet, communal way to spend part of your time in Montreal in late autumn.
