Andie b2b DJ Cooldad and Melek b2b Nad: Back-to-Back DJ Night brings two back-to-back DJ pairings to the decks at DATCHA in Montreal. Each set is shared between two DJs, so the night moves through handovers rather than a single voice at the controls.
The night at a glance
- What: a DJ night with two back-to-back pairings, Andie with DJ Cooldad and Melek with Nad
- When: Thursday, 12 November, from 22:00 until 03:00
- Where: DATCHA, Montreal, Canada
- Tickets: available through Resident Advisor
What to expect
This is a dance night built around the pairing format. Back-to-back sets let each DJ respond to the other in real time, which tends to give the evening a conversational feel. The run from 22:00 to 03:00 gives you a long stretch on the floor, so it suits anyone who likes to settle in and stay for the whole arc of the night.
DATCHA is the venue for the evening, and the full details, including updates to the lineup or the schedule, are listed on its website at bardatcha.ca. Because the night is ticketed through Resident Advisor, that is the place to check availability before you plan the trip.
Planning your visit
Montreal is a city of many nightlife neighbourhoods, so if you are coming from elsewhere in the city or from out of town, allow time to get to DATCHA before the 22:00 start. The event is a good fit for a Thursday night out for those who want a long, unhurried set rather than a short appearance.
