À corps & vins is a 90-minute immersive evening that blends wine tasting with contemporary movement. A sommelier from Quebec and four performers guide the audience through the experience.
Each glass served during the evening is matched with a choreographed sequence, so that the flavours of the wine are echoed in the dancers' gestures. Spectators remain comfortably seated: they taste, watch and let themselves be taken on a journey.
The theatre hall is transformed into a temporary wine region, moving from the minerality of a white wine to the heady bouquet of a red. Sharp steps, rounded arm movements and lingering glances each translate a different quality of the wines.
