Monde
nouveau.

In 115 days theater performance
On this stage, the stage makes the world. The world still turns — and there are people turning with it or making it turn, speaking and dancing as agreed, fuelled by yesterday's novelty and tomorrow's. How do you say no? The individual leaves the group, gets entangled in virtuality and makes do — as one must, though one shouldn't. But what to do when various systems and machines imprison and reproduce themselves? The piece exposes neo-everything oppression: dehumanised repetitive gestures, conformist and lost bodies, the fever to win and consume — and perhaps also the possibility of a breach, something or someone like a grain of sand trying to jam the infernal cogs. Runtime: 1h30. Production of Théâtre des 13 vents CDN Montpellier.
