Two Sides of Classical Guitar - Ophelia Sangill.

In 12 days concert

Two Sides of Classical Guitar is the debut concert of guitarist and vocalist Ophelia Sangill, held on 18 November 2026 in the Academy Concert Hall of the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.

About the evening

The programme sets two works for the classical guitar beside a piece of Sangill's own. Manuel Ponce's Sonata III and Alberto Ginastera's Sonata for guitar, Opus 47 bring the instrument's repertoire to the fore, while her composition Tæt på offers a more personal voice. The concert is performed with a small band: Sangill on guitar and voice, Ludvig Smidl on guitar, Tomas Bazo on drums, and Albert Sangill on piano and synth.
