ROOF is a rooftop bar and lounge on the 8th floor of the NH Collection Copenhagen hotel, on Strandgade 7 in central Copenhagen. It is a place to come for a drink with a view, with the city spread out below.
What to expect
The cocktails and mocktails take their inspiration from Copenhagen landmarks seen from the rooftop, so the drinks are tied to the view you are looking at. The menu also offers snacks, bites, small dishes and desserts, along with champagne, wine and beer. It suits a relaxed evening rather than a full dinner out.
There is outdoor lounge seating for warm evenings, and a heated indoor pergola for cooler weather, so the visit works through more of the year than an open terrace alone would.

ROOF is open Monday to Saturday. The bar is seasonal: the stated hours cover 10 April to 17 October 2026, and it closes for the season and reopens in April 2027. Check the dates before you plan a trip outside that window.
