The fifth of six concerts in the Beethoven cycle at The Black Diamond sees Quatuor Ébène perform String Quartets Nos. 2, 16 and 14 in the Queen's Hall. This Saturday afternoon matinée pairs with the previous evening's concert to form the second weekend of the series.
Quatuor Ébène, formed in 1999 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, has performed Beethoven's string quartets at Philharmonie de Paris, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall.
