Nicko McBrain, best known as the drummer of iconic British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, brings his charismatic one-man show to Studie 2 at DR Koncerthuset. The evening offers audiences an up-close look at life as one of rock's most celebrated drummers.
McBrain joined Iron Maiden in 1983 ahead of the recording of the classic album Piece of Mind and has since been central to the band's sound across decades of successful albums and world tours.
Before Iron Maiden, McBrain built his name performing with guitarist Pat Travers and as a member of British rock band Streetwalkers in the 1970s. In the early 1980s he played with McKitty, and it was at a concert in Belgium that he first met Iron Maiden bassist and founder Steve Harris — a meeting that would prove decisive for his career.
