Copenhagen Cable
Park.

Place

Copenhagen Cable Park is a cable wakeboarding venue on the lake at Kraftværksvej, on the city's waterside. Riders are towed around the water by an overhead cable system, so no boat is needed. It is a lively, active outing that suits people who have never stood on a board as well as those who have ridden before.

What a visit involves

The park offers open sessions on a big cable and a small cable, along with lessons and reduced-speed sessions on the full-size cable. If you are new to the sport, the park runs a structured Basic Course, and staff help beginners get started, so no previous experience is needed. There is also a Surf Foil Course for those who want to try something different on the water.

You do not need to bring much. Boards, helmets, vests and wetsuits can be rented at the park, which makes it easy to arrive without equipment and decide on the day.

Food and groups

An on-site café serves burgers, paninis, snacks and hot or cold drinks, which is handy between rides. The park also hosts groups and events, so it can suit a gathering of friends or colleagues as well as a solo or couple's outing. For regular visitors, clip cards and season passes are available.
