Folk Songwriter Night is a concert evening at Le Verre Bouteille in Montreal, set for 3 November 2026. Five artists take turns on the stage, each presenting new songs in an exclusive acoustic set. The line-up named for the evening includes Velours Velours, Mantisse and Écarlate, with others to follow.
The evening is the last edition of the autumn season of the monthly series created and hosted by singer-songwriter Thomas Ariell. The series is called BOOMTOWN, and its name comes from a song by the Abitibi songwriter Richard Desjardins.
What to expect
- Five acoustic sets, one artist after another, with new material rather than familiar hits.
- A small-room format suited to listening closely to songwriting.
- A concert that closes the autumn run of a series hosted by its founder.
The performances take place in the venue's Salle Claude-Léveillée, the room where Velours Velours appears on the bill. For the evening's details and tickets, the venue's event page is the place to check.
