Planning your visit
Because tickets are sold online, it is worth checking the event page at Newspeak before you go, so you know what is available and can arrive on time for the 7:30 PM opening. The event is a single night, so it suits a midweek outing in December rather than a longer stay.
Montreal's neighbourhoods offer plenty to fill the hours before or after the show, from food and cafés to a walk through the streets. A night at a club is also an easy way to see how the city spends its winter evenings.
