Cabaret Voltaire bring their Final USA + Canada Tour to Montréal on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT). The Sheffield-born group are widely regarded as pioneers of early UK industrial music, post-punk and experimental noise, and went on to help shape electronic body music, electro and early techno.
Supporting on the night is I Speak Machine, a project delivering a dark, aggressive fusion of synthpop, industrial glampunk and darkwave, deeply integrated with cinematic and dystopian audio-visual themes.
The event is presented by Blue Skies Turn Black and Ciel Noir. Doors open for a 19:00 EDT start time.

Cabaret Voltaire are an English music group formed in Sheffield in 1973, originally comprising Stephen Mallinder, Richard H. Kirk, and Chris Watson. Named after the Zürich nightclub associated with the early Dada movement, they are widely regarded as among the most innovative and influential electronic acts of their era. Beginning with DIY electronics and Dada-influenced performance art, they helped pioneer industrial music before incorporating synthpop, techno, house, and funk elements.
