Galaxia.

In 11 Tagen show

Galaxia is a cosmic light and sound show created by Christian Salès and produced by CS Prod. It takes place in Montpellier, in the Occitania region of southern France, and is staged at the Préfecture de l'Hérault.

What the show offers

The performance combines projected light with a futuristic, immersive soundtrack. Its aim is to carry the audience through imaginary galaxies and clouds of stardust, so that the experience is felt as much as watched. It suits visitors who enjoy large-scale light installations and who like the idea of an evening spent inside a sound-led spectacle rather than seated before a conventional stage.

Dates and planning

Galaxia is scheduled for 12, 13 and 14 November 2026. Those three evenings are the only dates given for the show, so it is worth planning a visit around them. For current information on the programme and how to take part, the city's own page on its light programme, Coeur de Ville en Lumières, is the place to look.

Around the visit

The show sits within Montpellier's historic centre, a city known for its lively public squares and streets, which makes it easy to combine the evening with a stroll or a meal before or after. The Préfecture building, where the show is held, is part of that central setting, so arriving early gives time to look around the surroundings.
